Strength
A harmless man cannot protect peace.
Only a man capable of violence…
and strong enough to control it can.
A man who has no capability for cruelty or violence is WEAK.
A man who has cruelty and violence but cannot control them
is the WEAKEST of all.
But a man who understands DARKNESS…
who has the capability of becoming a MONSTER…
and learns to control it
that is a GREAT MAN.
— Friedrich Nietzsche explored this philosophy
in Beyond Good and Evil.
— Hajime Isayama borrowed similar ideas in
Attack on Titan and pushed them even further
through characters like Armin and Eren.
— Miyamoto Musashi spoke about this through
discipline, violence and mastery in
The Book of Five Rings.
— And Krishna guided Arjuna through the same
conflict in the Bhagavad Gita.
Also, “Dharma” does not simply mean religion.
Dharma means:
• Duty
• Responsibility
• Morality
• And standing for what is right
even when it becomes painful
